Heading Home

We had a great meeting yesterday with two potential partners here in Ghana. They represent churches on opposite sides of the country. Both work at planting churches in areas that currently have no churches, mostly more remote areas of the country. I am confident that we will be able to work out something to begin training sometime next year.

Today we met with a third potential partner and he is eager to connect with the others and carefully organize an effort that may draw in many other groups around the country. He is the leader of a major NGO here and has the organizational experience to really help us along. We were delighted to find out that he had been in seminary with us years ago, although we did not know him then. So four of us, myself, my teammate Brad, our RG Africa Advocate, Stu, and Walter the Ghanaian, all attended TEDS at the same time.

We are at the airport now awaiting our flight and thankful to be heading home. It had been a fruitful trip and we are thankful for all that God has done but at the same time it has had it's share of trials. About 26 hours from now we hope to be home.
